In this guide, we will provide a step-by-step walkthrough for signing up for a personal account on M2.
Step 1: Visit M2 website or download the Mobile app and click on the Register button. Use the desired email you wish to register with & password.
Note: The registered email cannot be changed at any point further.
Step 2: Verify your Phone number.
After you've completed the registration form, M2 will send a verification OTP to the phone number you provided.
Step 3: Provide personal information.
- First Name (required), Middle Name (Optional), Last Name (Required)
- Nationality
- Checkbox: Declare I am NOT a US person / I am a dual nationality holder
Step 4: Provide address information.
- Country of Residency
- Address (Has to match exactly your official Proof of address document)
- City
- Zip Code (Optional)
- Attaching Proof of Address (Please check our guide for Proof of Address)
Step 5: Tax Information
- Country of Tax Residency
- Tax ID (Optional)
Step 6: Provide employment information
- Employment Status
- Source of funds
- Primary use of account
Step 7: Provide Additional Information
- How much experience do you have in trading virtual assets?
- Expected annual income.
- Total net worth
Step 8: Scan your Passport.
M2 requires all users to submit their passports for account verification. Make sure you have your passport handy as copies are not accepted in our verification process.
Step 9: Face verification
Then you will be required to go through face verification as well for further identity verification.
Step 10: Wait for account approval
Once you've submitted your KYC, M2 will review your application where the process can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on the account validation and requirements for your account.
You'll receive an email once your account has been approved.
After your account is completely verified, you'll be able to start trading on the platform and enjoying M2 features!
