When submitting your ID, it's important to follow some guidelines for images so we will be able to quickly verify your account.
Type of ID accepted: Passport
What is an acceptable passport scan or photo?
- Legibility: The scan or photo should be high-resolution, typically at least 300 dpi. Most of the cameras and scanners already meets this resolution, so just make sure all text, numbers, and photos are clear and readable.
- Full Image: Ensure the entire passport is captured in the image, including all four corners.
- Natural Color: The image should be in color and not altered in any way to ensure authenticity.
- Current and Valid: The passport should be current and not expired.
- Details: Ensure important details such as name, date of birth, passport number, photo, signature (if applicable), and expiration date are visible and not obscured.
- Straight and Flat: Lay the passport on a flat surface and take the photo directly above to avoid angles or distortions.
- No Glare: Make sure there's no glare or reflection that obscures any part.
- Consistent Lighting: Use even lighting to ensure the ID is illuminated without shadows.

File requirements for uploads:
File Size: Min 50KB and Max 50MB
File Type: .jpeg, .jpg, .pjpeg, .jfif, .pjp, .pdf, .png
Remember: It can not be password-protected.
- If one or more of these parameters are not met, your upload will fail.
- If your file is within these guidelines but you still get the error, please take a screenshot of your image, and try to upload that instead.
