When submitting your ID, it's important to follow some guidelines for images so we will be able to quickly verify your account.

Type of ID accepted: Passport

What is an acceptable passport scan or photo?

  1. Legibility: The scan or photo should be high-resolution, typically at least 300 dpi. Most of the cameras and scanners already meets this resolution, so just make sure all text, numbers, and photos are clear and readable.
  1. Full Image: Ensure the entire passport is captured in the image, including all four corners.
  1. Natural Color: The image should be in color and not altered in any way to ensure authenticity.
  1. Current and Valid: The passport should be current and not expired.
  1. Details: Ensure important details such as name, date of birth, passport number, photo, signature (if applicable), and expiration date are visible and not obscured.
  1. Straight and Flat: Lay the passport on a flat surface and take the photo directly above to avoid angles or distortions.
  1. No Glare: Make sure there's no glare or reflection that obscures any part.
  1. Consistent Lighting: Use even lighting to ensure the ID is illuminated without shadows.
