Earn enables you to get rewards by depositing assets for flexible or fixed terms on the M2 platform. You can subscribe or redeem at almost any time, to retain flexibility and liquidity over your assets while earning daily rewards.
If you're interested in earning rewards by depositing assets on the M2 platform, here is a step-by-step guide on how to use Earn and get the most out of it.
Step 1: Login to your M2 account
Once you click on the Earn Page, you’ll be able to view the below.
- Current Earnings
- Start Earning
- Available to earn
Step 2: Choose an Earn Plan
You will see three earning plans: Flexible, Fixed, and Custom. Choose the plan that best suits your investment goals and risk tolerance.
- Fixed: This plan has a fixed term, usually ranging from 30 to 365 days, and offers a higher APY than the Flexible plan. Once you subscribe to a Fixed plan, you cannot withdraw your assets until the end of the term without paying a penalty.
- Customized: This plan is similar to Fixed plan but allows you to choose any number of days for a fixed term.
- Flexible: This plan allows you to deposit and withdraw your assets at any time, with no lock-up period or penalty. However, the APY may be lower than the other plans.
Step 3: Activate an Earn Plan
Once you have chosen your Earn plan, click on the 'Start Earning' button to enroll. Follow the prompts to select the asset you wish to deposit and the amount you want to invest.
You will then need to confirm the transaction to complete the enrollment.
Step 4: Track your active Earn plans.
After enrolling in a plan, you can check your active Earn plan by clicking on the "Current Earnings" tab on the Earn page. Here, you can see the following information:
- Asset name and symbol
- Average APY (annualized percentage yield)
- Asset amount you hold excluding locked/frozen/in earning amounts.
- Total earned accumulated earned asset amount for existing plans in USD equivalent.
How to redeem your Earn plan?
Step 1: Click on the Earn tab on the left side of your main page where it will display any active Earn plans
Step 2: Click on the desired plan you wish to redeem, and the page below will pop up as you will be required to add the amount you would like to redeem.
Step 3: Once you click the redeem button, a confirmation message will pop up showing the redeeming details and it will take up to 48 hours for the asset to reflect on your Main wallet.
You can view the plan under redeeming from Earn tab as below and please note that you will be notified through email once the plan redeeming is successfully completed.
